Why This Site Exists

I built this site for a couple of reasons:

1. I just wanted to learn how to do it start to finish.
2. I wanted a place to keep and share interesting things I've learned, both technical and non-technical.
3. My friends have sites, so I needed one, too.

Technology Stack

This site was built using the technology stack listed below. Currently, the entire site costs nothing to run!

• VS Code - Microsoft's top notch multi-platform code editor. I can even run it on my Raspberry Pi.
• Hugo - A complex, but possibly (probably) very capable, static site generator. I'd have to say it's not for the faint of heart. Templates are kind of insane.
• Github - Awesome source control and automated deployment. Commit a change and watch Github update your live site.
• Azure Static Web Apps - A great, free way to host the content generated by Hugo.
